About Us
Loom Products Company, Inc. was established in 1960 for the purpose of manufacturing and distributing textile machinery, accessories, and supplies. The name was changed in 1989 to Kellett Enterprises, Inc., maintaining the same management and ownership. The company was founded by Louise C. Kellett, who maintained her title as President of the company until 2004. The company was woman owned and family operated from the beginning and remains so today with the second generation now holding the corporate officer’s titles and handling the day to day operations of Kellett. Located in the beautiful upstate area of Greenville, South Carolina, Kellett owns and operates a building comprising 16,000 sq. feet of manufacturing and office space.
Over the years, the company held many patents for products used in the textile industry but in late 1960, Kellett Enterprises, Inc. developed and patented the LP-13 Shake Absorber® Vibration and Isolation Pad, which today is still sold globally and recommended by many of today’s large weaving machinery and other equipment manufacturers. The LP-13 Pad not only was the first three-layer shake absorber patented in the United States, it is the most widely acclaimed vibration and isolation pad in the world today, designed to effectively absorb vibration that causes excessive wear and downtime, and dampen machinery noise. The LP-13 Shake Absorber® can be specifically cut to fit any machinery specifications.
The latest development is a new vibration pad developed with a lower shore durometer to handle vibration on light equipment and computer/server equipment for today’s new vibration requirements.
